Buckinghamshire County Council (Bucks County Council) is the upper-tier local authority for the non-metropolitan county of Buckinghamshire, England. They started using Convene from January 2016 in order to become more digitalised. The Council was looking for a digital solution to manage their board meetings and came across Convene through online research and the G-cloud Digital Marketplace.

With Convene, the Council have been able to save a substantial amount of time, money (approximately £2500), and paper. They not only highly appreciate Convene’s award-winning security features and the ability to remotely wipe information on any device but also the easy learning and implementation process of the board app along with its excellent client support.

Using Convene has enabled us to drive innovation, not only in terms of the print savings, but also in the style and culture of our Board meetings. The iPad app also means that we can have instant access to both current and past papers wherever we are, which fits perfectly with the agile ways of working that we are developing” - Sarah Ashmead, One Council Board Member and Director of Strategy & Policy.
